Did you know using tomato for hair growth is one of the easiest ways you can strengthen and lengthen your #luvlylonglocks?
It is true indeed; when used as a hair mask, tomatoes can promote hair growth and bring back moisture to dry, brittle hair. And, stop dandruff.
Currently, we’re in the month of August, and if you live in a state like Florida, then you know the tomatoes are fully ripened and ready to be harvested.
All I can think of eating are salads, pizzas, salsa and bruschetta… oh my!
In fact, I’m getting hungry just thinking about those delicious tomato-based meals. (And yes, eating a hearty salad can indeed make for a very filling meal)
Now, time to refocus… When you use our tomato hair mask recipe for hair growth, you’ll truly reap the benefits that come along with this nutrient-rich fruit (or vegetable as some may consider it).
Health Benefits of Tomatoes
Studies and research indicate that tomatoes help protect the body against chronic diseases. To that point, there are several health benefits of tomatoes, among them are:
- protect against cancer
- maintain good blood pressure
- reduce blood-glucose levels in diabetic patients
- shield eyes from light-induced damage
- support good heart health
- facilitate normal bowel movements
Furthermore, you can eat them raw, cooked or boiled, and add them to virtually any meal, even if eaten as a pickled garnish.
Keep in mind, always wash tomatoes before eating and cooking with them since they’re often exposed to and known to contain pesticide residue.
